Haden Family History

Paul Barnett found this at Cradley Heath Library, Reddall Hill Road on the end of the bottom shelf in a brown envelope marked ‘Material Relating to Haden Hill House’ it was written by Walter Bassano, M.A. My thanks to Paul for passing this on.

The dates above could be birth or death dates and even marriage dates for that of Margareta wife of Henry Hadene. The first two dates are probably the death of Walter and birth of Stephanus. There may have been two Williams and the dates 1344/1388 relate to their death dates. The date for Richard is probably a birth date.

The descendency line goes into Margareta suggesting that she is the daughter of Richard Hadene (1388), but that seems unlikely as Henry would have taken his wife’s surname.
