ICT Exchange Event |
|
The breakfast event on 1st November
2001 was attended by over 100 people from a vast range of
companies and organisations, from those who now can't do without
ebusiness, to those just taking the first steps. We know SME's
time is valuable, and that is why the Dudley Gateway Project
has to be a 'down-to-earth' provider.
The speakers were John Woodall from Dudley Council Regeneration
Division, Paul Hingley with updated regional statistics and
showing what companies are doing, and Andy Gallop from Swimrite
describing how his retail business has actually benefited
from ICT. Everyone completed a feedback form and the surprising
outcome of this was the real gains that can be still be made
simply by using other peoples web sites.
We often consider the benefits in terms of businesses having
their own web site, but there is so much out there for us
to use. |
