Owing to illness the Lecture on 23 September at the Black Country Museum entitled ’The Peaky Blinders ’will no longer take place. Fortunately we have managed to arrange for Dr Trevor Raybould to present his new talk ‘Himley Hall Past and Present’. Trevor has spent many years researching the Earls of Dudley and this a well illustrated lecture showing many interesting features of the impressive residence and grounds together with comments on some of its illustrious residents. .

Industrial Archaeology on Film. A selection of short archive films which recorded the changing scene in Black Country industry and transport over the last 60 years. These include hand rolling of steel, the production of hand made bricks and traditional canal transport. .
