A unique collection of glass dresses went on display at Broadfield House Glass Museum, Kingswinford, from the 19th July 2008. The pieces have been created by glass artist Diana Dias-Leao.

Diana originally came from Scarborough, but is now based in London. She has degrees in both fashion and glass and has worked in the fashion industry for both Katharine Hamnett and Marks & Spencer.

"The main message I wish to convey in my work is the fact that even though the image is glittering. It is the person inside who is precious"

Accompanying the dresses there is also a display on unusual glass jewellery by leading artists, including Alex Ramsey, Patricia Neimann and Amanda Glanville, some of this for sale.

The exhibition runs until Spring 2009 at Broadfield Glass Museum.

The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 12 noon to 4pm.
