Taking the Old Roman A5 road through Llangollen, then join the Hollyhead Road and cross the new road bridge on to the isle of Anglesey to visit the railway station with the longest name! Return to the mainland via Telford's Old Bridge to Caernarvon where members can alight to visit the castle and the Welsh Highland railway or carry on to visit Llanberis for the Slate museum and Generating Station or ride on the Snowdon or Llanberis Lake railway. Members pay own admission charges on the day. Times: 8.30am Sava Centre, Oldbury, 8.45am Tower Street, Dudley Cost £14.00 (coach and gratuities). |
