(The geology, mining, history, engineering and wildlife of the Dudley No 2 canal from Peartree Lane Pumphouse to Brewins Bridge)
This will include a boat trip from Dudley Canal Trust HQ at Blowers Green Pumphouse, along the Dudley No 2 canal to Saltwells Nature reserve. We will look into the history of the No 2 canal, the mines, landscape and wildlife along its banks. We will get off at Brewins Bridge and walk around Saltwells Nature reserve before getting back onto the boat to return to the pumphouse.
